On December 31st, Marc a 43 years old Canadian business man was late for his flight to New York. He needed to go there where he would celebrate the New Year's Eve with his wife. He realised the flight had been canceled due to a winter storm.
Looking around, he found a woman who seemed to be in the same situation.
After introduction, Mei, a 30 years old Taiwanese architect, told him she was going to New York to celebrate New Year with friends.
They quickly realised they both had to leave in a couple of hours or they would miss the celebration.

寒冷的十二月31號晚上，43歲的加拿大商人Marc飛往紐約的行程遭到了推遲。原本是一趟前去和妻子共度新年的紐約行，而班機卻因為一場不合時宜的暴風雪而被取消了。
四處張望，Marc發現了一位和自己相同遭遇的小姐。 稍作寒暄之後，30歲的台灣籍建築師小美告訴了他自己也是要去紐約和朋友們慶祝新年的。
兩人很快就察覺了要是沒在幾個小時內啟程離開加拿大，他們便會錯過整個新年。

Le 31 décembre, Marc, un homme d’affaires canadien de 43 ans, était en retard pour son vol vers New York. Il devait y aller pour célébrer le Nouvel An avec sa femme. Il a réalisé que son vol a été annulé à cause d’une tempête de neige.
En regardant aux alentours, il a trouvé une femme qui semblait être dans la même situation.
Après s’être présentée, Mei, une architecte taïwanaise de 30 ans, lui expliqua qu’elle allait aussi à New York pour y célébrer le Nouvel An avec ses amis.
Ils ont rapidement réalisé qu’ils devaient partir bientôt, sinon ils manqueraient la fête.
